News from Jim. “We tried to start the car and it miserably failed – looks like the battery is as flat as a pancake so the engine didn’t even attempt to turn over. We’ll need to sort that out pronto. I’ve never seen a battery that flat before, so either someone’s left some electrics on for 2 months or we’ve got a more fundamental problem. We’ll need to jump-start it or something, but given that people are parked on either side all day it’s a bit awkward” :-s
